Access to the very latest rehabilitation technology can make the world of difference in helping our patients recover and return to the life they love. Over the years, generous donations to Allied Services Foundation have allowed us to stay at the forefront of innovation and provide our community access to technology not found anywhere else in the region. From cutting-edge gait training systems to virtual-reality training, multi-sensory therapy environments to diagnostic devices your donations are supporting new milestones in recovery for children and adults with disabilities and life-changing injuries.
In addition to traditional one-on-one therapeutic interventions, our patients enjoy access to a wide range of therapeutic groups. For example, the Stepping Out pragmatic social group offers children on the autism spectrum and their families the opportunity to navigate common social situations and activities with the support and direction of certified therapists. Other groups and programs include exercise classes customized for patients with Parkinson’s disease, music therapy for patients with Alzheimer’s disease, and art therapy for individuals with cognitive impairments.
Our 3000 employees are committed to delivering the compassionate care of the highest quality. Whether that means providing advanced training for physical therapists in the latest Parkinson’s treatments, offering dementia care training for Certified Nurse Aides or educating community members on the risk factors and warning signs of a stroke, we remain focused on serving our community.
