A local gym teamed up with a member of the WNEP’s Team Allied Services team recently to help raise funds for patients and residents at Allied Services. Hosted by Body Blueprint Personal Training Company in Clarks Summit on September 26, 2021, the “Black Ops” fundraiser put participants through a series of physical challenges. The fundraiser continued later in the day at the State Street Grill in Clarks Summit. Thanks to the generosity of Body Blueprint PTC, State Street Grill, Montage Mountain, Team Allied Services team member, Dr. Kenneth Tomczyk, and participants, the event raised $2,537.
Proceeds from the Black Ops event and other Team Allied Services fundraisers enable Allied Services to invest in advanced rehab technology and services to improve the lives of children and adults with disabilities, life-changing injuries, and illnesses. On November 7, 2021, Dr. Kenneth Tomczyk will join approximately 60 other volunteer runners in representing Allied Services in the TCS New York City Marathon. This will be Dr. Tomczyk’s first marathon.
