The strength, resilience, and determination of our patients amaze us daily. Danny's story will astound and inspire you.
On November 28, 2015, Danny Kovalski was struck by a truck while running in Wilkes-Barre. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and other injuries that left him unable to walk, talk or do any of the things we take for granted every day.
At our Wilkes-Barre Rehab Hospital, Danny found the support, expertise, technology, and rehab team he needed to fight his way back to the life he loves.
Today, the husband and father of 5 is taking on a new challenge: running his first marathon. He's running the #tcsnycmarathon this November as part of our Team Allied Services and You.
Danny is raising funds that will benefit patients just like him at Allied Services. He is asking for your support to help others who turn to Allied Services when they need us most.
For every $35 donation, you are eligible to receive an official, moisture-wicking team shirt! We invite you to join us in changing the lives of children and adults with disabilities, life-changing injuries, and chronic illness in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. Your donation will support the work of Allied Services, a non-profit health system: making miracles in rehab, helping people regain health and independence after an injury, improving the quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s or recovering from a stroke, empowering children to overcome a learning disability and much more.
