Weis Markets returns as Major Sponsor, donates $15,000 to Allied Services
Allied Services Integrated Health System is proud to announce Weis Markets as a returning major sponsor of Team Allied Services and You, the annual campaign to raise funds for children and adults with disabilities at Allied Services. As a 13-year major sponsor, Weis Markets has donated more than $195,000 to Allied Services. The funds, along with donations from individuals, schools, businesses, and other major sponsors, support Allied Services’ work in providing healthcare and human services to individuals with disabilities, life-changing injuries and chronic illness.
On November 6, 2022, 2 Weis Markets employees participated in the TCS New York City Marathon on behalf of Weis Markets and Allied Services. Christina Pelletier is a Registered Dietician for Weis Markets in Leesburg, Virginia, and Irene Cobb is a part-time Associate at the Scott Township store. They joined a team of 70 runners from around the country who raised funds and awareness for patients and residents at Allied Services.
In recent years, proceeds from the charity campaign have enabled Allied Services to invest in cutting-edge rehab technology not available anywhere else locally.
