Team Allied Services is excited to announce a significant milestone in our journey to inspire fitness, challenge disability, and change lives. For the first time, our team is expanding beyond the New York City Marathon to prestigious national and international races, and we couldn’t have asked for a better representative to lead the charge than John Martino.
For over 15 years, Team Allied Services has been a proud charity partner of the TCS New York City Marathon, one of the world’s most iconic races. During this time, our runners and supporters have raised millions of dollars to provide critical care and services to individuals in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania.
The funds raised through our Team Allied Services marathon efforts have directly supported life-changing programs at Allied Services, empowering children and adults with disabilities, injuries, and chronic illnesses to lead fuller, more independent lives.
Now, we’re taking that same spirit and commitment to a global stage, expanding our team’s reach to prestigious national and international races. This exciting new chapter begins with one of our own, John Martino, leading the charge.
Meet John Martino
John is an accomplished runner and a dedicated physical therapist at Allied Services, known for his unwavering commitment to helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. With years of experience, John has been a driving force in supporting individuals through their rehab journeys. Now, he’s taking that same passion and determination to the racecourse as the inaugural runner in our national and international expansion.
The Challenge: Napa Valley Marathon
On March 2, John will lace up his running shoes and hit the scenic roads of Napa Valley to participate in the Napa Valley Marathon. This iconic race offers not only breathtaking views but also the opportunity to raise awareness and critical funds for Allied Services. Every step John takes will represent our mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults facing disabilities, injuries, and chronic illnesses right here in Northeast and Central Pennsylvania.
