Ryan's Run gets a new name and look

After 12 years, Allied Services' annual charity campaign - Ryan's Run - is getting a new name and look.

"We're grateful to Ryan for his years of leadership and support for our patients and those we serve," reflects Atty. Bill Conaboy, President & CEO. "Over the past 12 years, Ryan and WNEP have helped us to build a campaign that has been truly transformative; not only for the individuals and families we serve but also for our employees.

"We never imagined that it could be so successful or so positive for our community. This partnership lasted more than a decade. We're so appreciative of what we've been able to accomplish for our patients, thanks to the support of Ryan, WNEP, our sponsors, and our supporters. "

A new chapter for Ryan's Run

Although the charity campaign has a new look and name, the mission remains the same: to Inspire Fitness, Challenge Disability, and Change Lives.

"We're excited to launch year 13 and to share this experience with a whole new team of runners" says Jim Brogna, Vice President of Strategic Partnership Development. "This year, we have our biggest and most diverse team. With the support of WNEP TV, our major sponsors, volunteer runners, and you, Team Allied Services will continue to raise funds and awareness for patients and residents at Allied Services with the same energy, passion, fun, and dedication you’ve come to know and love about the Ryan’s Run campaign."

Team Allied Services and You

As in years past, the charity campaign will culminate with a team of 72 volunteer runners participating in the TCS New York City Marathon on November 6. In addition to putting in hundreds of miles of training, the runners will raise funds to benefit children and adults at Allied Services.

"We're inviting the community to join us in supporting more milestones in rehab for stroke survivors, more firsts for children with developmental disabilities, more precious memories for hospice patients, and more lives restored for mental health sufferers. A donation of any size can have a lasting impact" says Brogna.

Donors will be able to receive an official Team Allied Services exercise with a donation of $35 or more. To receive a shirt, visit our fundraising website, select a runner to support, donate, and complete the order form.

Team Allied Services includes runners from PA volunteers from Florida, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
