Our inpatient rehab hospitals are committed to providing our patients with quality rehabilitation health care services, and we believe our results demonstrate our fulfillment of that commitment. In fact, in 2016, Allied Rehab Hospital received the Uniform Data System of Medical Rehabilitation’s top performer awards, recognizing Allied Rehab in the top 1% of rehab hospitals nationwide. The information below summarizes our performance on key quality indicators for our various levels of care.
Our patients make significant improvements in important functional activities like being able to walk, get around, and take care of themselves. We measure our patients’ improvement in functional activities using a tool called FIM™. The charts below show FIM™ improvements achieved by our patients relative to national benchmarks.

The average patient stays with us for about 12 days. Patients receive at least 3 hours of therapy, 5 out of 7 days. The chart shown below compares the average length of stay for our patients compared to national benchmarks.

Upon discharge, about 74% of our patients return to their homes. However, whether a patient is able to return home depends upon the type and severity of each patient’s diagnosis and other unique circumstances. The next chart shows the percentage of patients who returned home immediately after their stay at one of our rehab facilities compared to national benchmarks.
