Increased Pay For CNAS: Rehab Hospitals and Transitional Rehab

Allied Services announced that is increasing the hourly rate of pay for Certified Nurse Aides, effective July 1, 2021. The change affects existing and new CNAs working at the non-profit health system's inpatient rehab hospitals and transitional rehab units in Scranton and Wilkes-Barre.

"Certified Nurse Aides play an important role in patient care," says Judy Oprisko, Vice President of Human Resources for Allied Services. "We're pleased to be able to offer this increase in pay for these hard-working team members. Our inpatient rehab hospital and transitional rehab units consistently earn the highest rankings for patient care thanks to all of our team members."

Beginning July 1, 2021, Certified Nurse Aides at Allied Services' inpatient rehab hospitals and transitional rehab units in Scranton and Wilkes-Barre will earn $17.00 per hour plus a $2 shift differential on evenings, and $1.00 shift differential on nights. Call-in staff will receive the newly increased hourly rate of $20.00 per hour plus shift differentials.
