Allied Services Physical Therapist Earns Advanced Certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation

Loriann Haddick, PT, completed the Competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation program. Vestibular rehabilitation is a type of physical therapy commonly used for conditions such as vertigo and labyrinthitis that focuses on improving the relationship between the inner ear, brain, eyes, muscles, and nerves. The therapy can also reduce the risk of falling and improve balance, body strength, and the patient’s ability to stabilize vision.

Haddick completed rigorous evidence-based coursework and demonstrated clinical competency skills to achieve a Certificate of Competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation (CCVR). A long-tenured employee of Allied Services, Haddick joined the non-profit health system in 1993 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton. Haddick, who works at Allied Services Taylor Rehab Center, is an experienced physical therapist regularly treating patients with various conditions, including balance and vestibular disorders, back and neck pain, stroke, and other neurological conditions.
