For longtime Team Allied Services runner and supporter Michael Lopatofsky of Lopatofsky Auction, running has always been about more than the miles - it’s about purpose, perseverance, and giving back.
Since 2018, Michael has completed an incredible 21 marathons, including iconic races such as Boston, New York City, and Chicago. Along the way, he set an ambitious goal: to complete all six races in the Abbott World Marathon Majors and earn the coveted Six Star Finisher Medal.
That goal has taken him across the globe. In 2023, Michael crossed the finish line at the Berlin Marathon, followed by the London Marathon in 2025. With those races complete, just one major remained - the Tokyo Marathon, widely regarded as one of the most difficult races in the world to gain entry into.
In March 2026, Michael will take on Tokyo, completing the final chapter of his Six Star journey and marking a milestone in an already remarkable running career.
Michael is participating in the Tokyo Marathon as a charity runner, using the global stage of this iconic race to raise awareness and support for the life-changing care provided by Allied Services. We are deeply grateful to Michael and his family for their continued generosity and commitment to our mission, turning this personal milestone into an opportunity to give back to the community they care so deeply about.
“In running Tokyo, I’m raising money for children taking their first steps after illness or injury, seniors recovering from illness or stroke, and veterans receiving compassionate hospice care,” Michael shared. “Allied Services is there every step of the way, providing dignity, hope, and healing.”
Michael and his family have been steadfast supporters of Allied Services for years, consistently going above and beyond - not only in support of the organization’s annual New York City Marathon campaign, but also by helping expand its reach through international marathon efforts like Tokyo. Their dedication exemplifies what it means to turn personal goals into lasting community impact.
As Michael prepares for the trek to Tokyo, every mile he runs and dollar he raises will directly support programs and services at Allied Services that improve quality of life for individuals throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. From pediatric rehabilitation to senior recovery and end-of-life care, his fundraising helps ensure compassionate, life-changing care for those who need it most.
No donation is too small, and every contribution helps make a difference.
