Patriots Cove Partnership

Allied Services Hospice & Palliative Care has partnered with Patriots Cove to expand support for veterans, first responders, and their families throughout northeastern Pennsylvania.

Through this collaboration, Allied Services serves as the exclusive hospice and palliative care partner for Patriots Cove’s Veterans and First Responder Last Best Day Program and related services at its Wyoming County facility.

The partnership combines Allied Services’ expertise in compassionate, person-centered care with Patriots Cove’s unique setting and restorative programs. Together, the organizations will coordinate services that address participants’ physical and emotional needs while supporting their families and caregivers.

About Patriots Cove

Founded by a military veteran, Patriots Cove is a 40-acre sanctuary located in the mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania. Its mission is to help veterans, first responders, and their caregivers heal, reconnect, and adapt to life after service through meaningful outdoor and restorative experiences.

The fully accessible property includes a trout stream, fishing areas, accessible trails, hunting blinds, gathering spaces, lodging, and quiet areas for rest and reflection. Programs are designed to encourage independence, camaraderie, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Veterans and First Responder Last Best Day Program

The Last Best Day Program creates meaningful experiences for veterans and first responders facing terminal or life-limiting illnesses.

Each experience is shaped around the participant’s interests, needs, and personal story. A Last Best Day may include time outdoors, a peaceful retreat with family, a return to a meaningful place, or another experience that honors the participant’s service and legacy.

These experiences are not about extravagance. They are about comfort, dignity, togetherness, and creating lasting memories for participants and the people who care for them.

Through the partnership, Allied Services Hospice & Palliative Care will help coordinate appropriate care and support so participants can focus on the experience while remaining as comfortable and secure as possible.

Supporting Families and Caregivers

Families and caregivers are an important part of the Patriots Cove experience. Programs provide opportunities for caregivers to remain close to their loved ones, participate at their own pace, connect with others who understand their experiences, or simply take time to rest.

By working together, Allied Services and Patriots Cove can provide an additional layer of support for the individuals and families navigating serious illness and end-of-life care.
